There are a few different ways to make fried rice and they all start with getting your rice ready.

For white rice, you’ll need 1 cup of raw rice and 3 cups of water for every two servings of fried rice. You can also use brown rice, but it’s going to take a little longer to cook – plan on adding an extra 20 minutes or so.

Before cooking the rice, add in some salt and it will help enhance the flavor. Rice has a higher water content than other grains, so it will also take less oil for frying.

After that’s done, you can cut up your vegetables or meat and then fry them in a pan with around 2-3 tablespoons of oil and fry until fully cooked.

Next, add in around half a cup of onion and fry until they’re translucent. From here, you can just throw the rice into the mix and keep frying.

It’ll take around 8-10 minutes to fry it all together, but rice is one of those things that if you leave it cooking for too long, it’ll start to get mushy.

When that’s done, you can either add some soy sauce or just salt and pepper. If you’re using fresh vegetables or meat, then fried rice is the perfect way to use them up while also getting some extra nutrients in your body.

It’s a great way to recycle leftovers too! You can get creative with what you put in your fried rice, but make sure to add in some soy sauce at the end to give it that extra kick.

So this is how to make Fried Rice.
