How to make Cookies

Cookies are delicious and easy to make. The only ingredients you need are butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, milk, baking powder, salt, all-purpose flour and chocolate chips.

First cream the butter with the sugar in a large bowl. Add the eggs one at a time. Add the vanilla extract and milk. Mix well with each addition of egg or milk.

Add salt to taste and mix well again.

Add baking powder to the mixture and stir just until blended with no lumps remaining.

Lastly add all-purpose flour and chocolate chips to the mixture then put into refrigerator for about an hour to let it cool before you bake it.

Cookies should be cooked at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Let cool before you eat. Now go get creative and make your very own batch of cookies!

Baking time can vary depending on the desired softness or hardness of your cookie, try using a tablespoon to measure the amounts if needed. The best way to mess with the recipe is adding more chocolate chips.

Cookies can be kept in an airtight container for about a week and can also be frozen. If you’re looking to add more flavor try using vanilla extract, spices such as cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice, raisins or white chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet. You can also add nuts and other dried fruits to the recipe.
