A spider web is a random shaped form of silk produced by spiders. The spider web is made out of the thread-like strands called viscid silk that are used to trap prey for the purpose of making meals.

Let’s learn how to draw a spider web.

First of all, you need to draw a small circle in the middle of your paper. Draw two lines radiating out from the center circle – one to the left and one to the right.

Then, curve them so that they touch each other at their ends. Now start drawing lines coming off of the ends of these lines, but don’t draw them all the way across yet!

The more complex your web becomes, the more spokes you need to make come off of the center circle’s lines. You can make these lines curve off in different directions, and even intersect with the outside circle to make a flower shape.

Now add in smaller circles lined up next to each other within the outer ring (you don’t want them to overlap!). Draw lines coming out of the center circle that touch these small circles – you should have something similar to an asterisk.

Draw curves coming off of these lines that pass through the little circles, but don’t bring them all the way back around to touch the outer ring again.

Add a few more spokes made from center circle lines until you have something resembling a spider web! You can add in extra concentric circles or make some parts bigger or smaller depending on what you want your web to look like.

Once you’re done, add in some shadows and highlights and you’ve got an awesome spider web!

You can even color it in with markers or paint if you want it to be more colorful. Try making little spiders crawling around the outside of your web!
