A pineapple typically is a fruit that has skin, flesh and core. Pineapples come in many varieties and shapes. They develop in clusters on the stem of a single plant and can weigh up to 10 pounds or more.

How to cut a Pineapple

Remove the top and bottom of the pineapple. Cut out the hard brown eyes that are near the bottom.

Cut it into quarters. With one hand, hold down on some pineapple pieces while cutting with the other to prevent too many pieces from falling.

Slice off a small section from one of the sides so you have a flat surface to stand on for cutting.

Poke a small, sharp knife in between a few pineapples squares to loosen them up and cut around them in a spiral pattern so they look like petals on a flower.

So this is how to cut a Pineapple.
