A front flip is a type of gymnastic aerial acrobatic skill where the performer rotates 180°, turning to face the sky with their hands stretched in front of them.

The following method can be used to achieve maximum height during a front flip.

1. One foot should be in front of the other, with about .25 meters between them.

2. Stand up straight, take a deep breath and raise your arms to the sides.

3. Bend your knees slightly and crouch down a bit, bending your legs at a 90 degree angle from your waist.

4. Swing around the front leg while simultaneously flinging out the arm connected to it to make a wide circular movement in front of you before you jump into the air for the flip – this will give you momentum and speed when performing this difficult move.

5. Keep swinging that arm through as you jump upwards and bring your other arm forward, landing on both feet in a lunge position after flipping over.

6. Push yourself away from the ground by extending your legs and springing up, flipping backwards with a slight twist of your torso to get gravity on your side and land on your feet comfortably.

7. Fall back into a comfortable stance: One foot slightly in front of the other, arms at the sides and stand up properly while breathing deeply.

So that’s how to do a Front Flip.
